yes/no divination methods

These are the methods I've used for yes/no divinations. When you need a quick simple answer, use these.

pendulums

A pendulum is a weighted object from a string. I have found that pendulums are much more easily influenced by your emotional state, more than cards are, so making sure you are relaxed is really important, as with any method of divination, but ESPECIALLY this one. I think this is because you're more likely to fuck up due to the ideomotor effect. This is why I think that unlike cards, you have to get them attuned to your energy first by having it on your person. I've heard people say a few days or a week before you can start using it, but I just started using mine after a day lol and the accuracy was fine, so long as I was calmed down enough. Also make sure that the object on it is heavy enough to swing.

Before using your pendulum, relax. Then hold your pendulum about an inch away from the surface. Ask it a few yes questions (is my name x, is it raining outside etc) and note what the "yes" swing is. Do the same for "no".

What I find interesting is that the pendulum swings different ways for people. I've seen lots of people say that a side-to-side means "no", while a clockwise swing means yes or whatever. It's the opposite for me. So find what works for you.

One method to make your pendulum more accurate is to dedicate it to Prince Orobas. Orobas never lies to the magician, and knows everything. Then draw or print out his sigil and use your pendulum over it. When you have his sigil out, Orobas is present and will help you divine accurately. I highly recommend doing this.

playing cards

Draw three or five cards off your deck. The ratio of red to black will determine the answer. I would suggest doing this to confirm a pendulum swing.

I'm still experimenting with this, because I believe that diamonds and clubs are neutral suits dependent on the cards relative to them. I would even say the club is usually a good suit and more positive than the diamond. But the red-black ratio I've found to be reliable.

You can also read the cards to glean more insight into your question. At that point it's the same as doing a trio spread. I also found that in the past when I've pulled cards for a y/n question, the cards themselves don't really make sense. YMMV I guess.
